REVIEW: Santa, Please Bring Me a Boyfriend

Hohoho and Happy Holidays! Holiday reading is so much fun. I'll be honest: I read this as a NetGalley ARC in OCTOBER when I wasn't quite in the holiday spirit. Let me tell you: if you're not there, this will help you get in the mood.
For the holidays, of course. What were YOU thinking?
Okay, let's start with the short and sweet review of Sophie Ranald's Santa, Please Bring Me a Boyfriend.
I really enjoyed this story. I loved the relationship with Ro and her friends, with her and her daughter, and with Alex. I even liked the work plot. It shows so much growth and character development. The relationship was sweet but very much a slow burn. This is a sweet rather than steamy story with much to recommend it.
Now for more details! I don't want to give anything important away, but you have Ro, a single working parent who isn't having the best year. She's stressed about work, money, raising a teenager, and her love life. She's no damsel in distress though! She's strong and independent, and she has the most amazing friends who come together to do something really special for her. Enter Alex. If you're a single person waiting for love to come via the delivery person, this is the story for you! This is a sweet holiday story that will warm your heart about friendship, motherhood, and romance.
Did I mention it will get you in the holiday spirit, too?
So, why are you still here? Go, read it. Tell me what you think!
Happy Holiday Reading!
